How to Use the Freeda Hummingbird IPL Hair Removal Device

Preparation

1. Shave the area where you plan to use the device. The hair should not exceed 2 mm in length.
2. Clean the skin to remove any oils, lotions, or makeup. Ensure the skin is dry before use.
3. Do not apply any gels or skincare products before treatment, as they may interfere with the device's effectiveness.

Steps to Use

1. Turn on the device by plugging it in and allowing it a few seconds to power up.
2. The device starts in LED Light Therapy mode (for skincare benefits). You can switch between red, blue, and violet light by pressing the power button.
3. To switch to IPL mode, long-press the power button. Once in IPL mode, you cannot switch back to LED mode until the device is turned off and restarted.
4. Select the intensity level using the power button. Beginners should start with the lowest setting and gradually increase based on skin tolerance.
5. Place the device against your skin and press the pulse button:
   • Single-Flash Mode (for smaller areas like the face or bikini line): Press the pulse button once for each flash.
   • Continuous Mode (for larger areas like legs and arms): Long-press the pulse button to activate auto-flashing, then glide the device smoothly across the skin.
6. Ensure full coverage by treating each area thoroughly. Each section may require three passes for the best results.
7. Turn off the device by long-pressing the power button. The fan will continue running for a few seconds to cool down.
